The Wind and I

I have no words at this moment in time
The wind that stole my breath has brought me this rhyme
The dipping scape of vast hues and tones
Makes me stop and feel the sunset as it warms my bones
The wind that takes my breath from me
Gives it back to shrub and tree
a whistling song I'm granted then
From bending twig and creaking stem
Leaves join in and lend their clap
And then it's gone from whence it came
The trees then sit as if bland and plain
Their secret is safe, atleast for a while
Before the next gust comes and stirs up their style

rock on...

I love how poetry isn't just "poetry". Everyone's style is different, and it shows in what and how they write...good stuff :)

oh yeah...I loved how you emailed me and put your website in the email. As if I don't check your site on a regular basis.

fyi- I check my friend's sites almost every day

eh...sometimes it sticks it in there as the signature, I didnt do it on purpose. "it" has a mind of its own...

anyway....your poem is pretty sweet too

Question- how do you add photos to posts on your blogs. I'm asking because I may use blogspot to post ministry updates/newsletters...

I think its similar to Xanga...you have to have it hosted on another site. I started with Hello, a system that works directly with blogspot. because I couldnt use it at work (firewall), and it was cumbersome...I started just putting them on my school firebox. You just have to know the address of the image. Try Photobucket! its a great easy site for photo hosting, I just discovered it through a friend.

I use photobucket now for xanga. I was just wondering how you post it on blogspot. I didn't see a link or anything to "add a photo"

theres a little button above the new text window thats for adding a photo, basically it gives you the HTML code to put in there, you can copy/paste and fill in your picture URL
