schmooze

hey whats up? not much going on. I went with a friend to a DCBIA (District of Columbia Building Industry Association) awards dinner last night downtown. That was pretty cool, alot more fun than I expected. Mayor Tony Williams was there, and even Marion Barry. Cool food. Very elegant atmosphere, perfect for schmoozing and networking......

(yes, I have connections.....I hope I can get into more of these)

yeah, try going with a name brand, for sure. something with atleast 2 megapixels, and something that has a screen on the back. I have an older one, a canon that has 2.1 megapixels, and it works fine, but sucks battery fast. having a rechargeable battery is really helpful. I have one now. I dont use digital a whole lot though......

oh, and figure how to get the photos to your computer, like if you can use an SD card, or a compactflash card. You'll need a card reader, unless the camera has lots of internal memory and you can transfer it with USB......

Hey brian -- I did read this post -- i just found the other one so entertainingn! more later. Amy -- I would recommend somehting with at least 5 megapixels or more. they are slightly more expensive but the prints are out of this world. My dad has an amateur/pro SLR 8 megapixel camera and the prints are amazing! so much better than the prints with the 3.1 megapixels. Hope that helps! You CAN'T go wrong with CANON, OLYMPUS, or NIKON.
